NBA Mock Draft 2013 -- Zimmer

For my NBA Mock Draft, I have attempted to have a best available and a need pick for the whole first round. I'm not even going to try and say I'm an expert yet. I'm hoping to get better. Here we go! Good luck to all the draft picks!
Shorthand Key:
PG = Point Guard                         PF = Power Forward
SG = Shooting Guard                    C = Center
SF = Small Forward
PPG = Points Per Game               APG = Assists Per Game
RPG = Rebounds Per Game

Pick: 1
Team: Cleveland Cavaliers
Team Needs:  SF, PF, C
Best Available Pick: Kentucky C Nerlens Noel.
I think that Nerlens Noel is the best player in the Draft. However, injuries could come to define his career as they did with Greg Oden. Talent wise you can't argue with a C out of college who can play in the post on offense and rebound on defense. Coming off a Torn ACL will hinder Noel's progress coming into his first season (obviously) but any team that picks him will need to be ready to help him rehab and be ready for possible disappointment. That is why I have a different prediction for who I think they will pick.
Need Pick: Georgetown SF Otto Porter
Porter averaged 16.2 PPG and 7.5 RPG for Georgetown. He was the Big East Player of the Year, second in the Associated Press voting for overall Player of the Year. I think that he is perfect for the Cavs, but I could see the Cavs trading this pick. If they can't, I think they should take Otto Porter.

Pick: 2
Team: Orlando Magic
Team Needs: SF, PF, C
Best Available: Kansas SG Ben McLemore
Another player who is injured, but I believe can be a great player in the NBA. Averaging 15.9 PPG and 5.2 RPG I think he could be a real asset to any franchise that chooses him. The ankle injury shouldn't hurt him too bad, but any injury should raise some questions, those questions don't have to be huge career questions, but teams need to make sure they choose more solid picks. That's one reason I think you stay away from Noel with the first pick.
Need Pick: PF/C Nerlens Noel.
I talked above about his injuries. But he's got to be the pick Orlando wants. He could be the next big guy to fall on his face or he could be the next big guy to make it big. Who knows, I don't want to predict it one way or another, but I hope he's successful. His one and only year at Kentucky he played in 24 games averaging half a rebound under a double-double per game, 10.5 PPG, 9.5 RPG.

Pick: 3
Team: Washington Wizards
Team Needs: SF, PF
Best Available: Otto Porter
I talked about him above. He'd be a great fit for the Wizards, but....
Need Pick: UNLV SF/PF Anthony Bennett
Kyle mentioned it in his blog post, teams need to figure out what they consider Bennett, a big SF or a small PF. Either way I think Bennett is worth the third overall pick. Not a whole lot of star potential in this draft, but I think Bennett could shine with the right fit. He's a good fit for the Wizards, but are the Wizards a good fit for him? We'll see.

Pick: 4
Team: Charlotte Bobcats
Team Needs: PG, SG, SF, PF, C
Best Available: Victor Oladipo.
In my opinion he'll be gone by this pick, but he is going to be a great player.
Need Pick: Maryland C Alex Len.
Len was underrated until recently. He is a great pick for anyone. I think he'd be a fantastic steal for the Bobcats here. As you can see, I've noted that the Bobcats need help EVERYWHERE. Well, start in the middle and build out.

Pick: 5
Team: Phoenix Suns
Team Needs: (Bench) SG, SF
Best Available: Michigan PG Trey Burke
Burke became one of my favorite players to watch. He is always assisting and scoring, he's not the next Damian Lillard, but he is definitely a serviceable PG either bench or starter at some point. Averaging 18.6 PPG and 6.7 APG is no small feat, so look for him to go in the Top 10.
Need Pick: Ben McLemore.
Not sure he'll be here, but I think he could be a good fit with the Suns. He would be a nice pair with PG Goran Dragic.

Pick: 6
Team: New Orleans Pelicans
Team Needs: SF, PF, (Bench) PG
Best Available: Alex Len
Need Pick: Indiana PF/C Cody Zeller

Pick: 7
